Find a petition you support, enter your details, and open the email we send you. Click the confirmation button to add your signature. You don’t need to create an account.
Only confirmed signatures count, and each email can sign a petition once. You choose whether your first name and last initial appear publicly. Otherwise, your signature is shown as anonymous.
Starting a petition
Explain the issue, name who can make the change, and list specific actions. Confirm your email and the BetterGov team will review your petition before publication. Read our community guidelines before submitting.
What happens when a petition reaches its goal?
The goal is a milestone for community support. A petition can continue collecting signatures until it is closed. Reaching a goal does not automatically trigger government action or guarantee a response.
Didn’t receive the confirmation email?
Check your spam folder. Use the resend option on the confirmation notice or sign again with the same email to request a fresh link. Links expire after 24 hours. Your signature will never count twice.
